Side Games
Playing Bingo is clearly the main reason anyone signs up to play at an online Bingo site, but all the best clubs lay on lots of extra entertainment to tickle the gaming fancies of their members. Check out what our favourite Bingo sites can offer players ‘on the side’…
Side Games
The Bingo games at an online Bingo site are always going to be the main attraction for players, but variety is the spice of life so you’ll often find a selection of ‘side games’ offered at any club you join. What are side games? There are no hard and fast rules for what qualifies as a side game, but generally they are extra single-player games to bet on for more real-cash winnings. Players can activate them at anytime, so they have an advantage that you don’t have to wait for a specified time for the game to start and the outcome of a bet are known very rapidly.
The most popular types of side games you’ll find at the best online Bingo sites are selections of classic casino table games, slot machines and Instant Win games such as Keno and scratch cards. All of these are very easy to learn to play, add more betting fun to your online Bingo sessions and can plump your player account with extra winnings if your lucks in! Slots are particularly easy to understand and are especially popular with Bingo players so these may be the side games to explore first.
Below is a comparison table to let you see what side games are available at the online Bingo sites we list here at InternetBingo.co.uk. This is a non-exhaustive list but covers the most popular side game types and notes any special options we think might appeal!

Side Games And Bonus Money
One thing to be aware of with side games is how an online Bingo site allows its bonuses to be applied to them. You may find that an online Bingo bonus can only be used to buy Bingo tickets, so any side games you want to play will have to be funded with money you’ve personally deposited in your player account. Other online Bingo sites may let you use their Bingo bonuses to play side games, but apply a limitation excluding selected games.
Another point to be aware of is if playing side games will count towards any wagering requirement applied to cashing out any free Bingo bonus money you’ve earned. (N.B. you can find more information about wagering requirements by reading the Bingo Bonuses article you’ll find in our Bingoversity section). Not all online Bingo sites that apply wagering requirements to their bonus payments allow bets on side games to count towards that condition.
For the specific information on how side games may or may not be used with bonus money please refer to the terms and conditions for bonuses at the particular online Bingo site you are a member of or are interested in joining. These can always be found published on that club’s website – there will be a link to ‘terms & conditions’ usually at the bottom of that Bingo site’s home page.
